Miguel is a licensed life insurance professional and financial coach who brings a rare blend of industry insight and communication expertise to Valora Benefits Group. With a background in branding and digital marketing, he launched his own agency in 2017 to help small businesses grow through clear messaging and authentic strategy — always rooted in trust and transparency.

For the past five years, Miguel has also worked at a respected asset management firm, where he helped individuals and families with millions of dollars in assets build thoughtful, long-term strategies to grow and protect their wealth. His hands-on experience in the world of financial planning gives him a unique ability to guide clients at every income level — from those just getting started to those managing complex portfolios.

Miguel’s passion for helping people protect what matters most is what led him to life insurance and financial coaching. Today, he combines that financial knowledge with strong communication skills to deliver personalized, easy-to-understand tips to every client he serves.

In addition to working directly with clients, Miguel also leads VBG’s outreach and education efforts — ensuring that everything we share reflects our mission: to serve with honesty, value, and transparency.

Outside of work, you’ll find Miguel enjoying walks around the city with his wife, young son, and their dog Milo.

Kayla is a licensed insurance advisor with over five years of experience helping individuals, families, and seniors navigate their health and Medicare coverage options. After spending three years with a nationally recognized insurance company, Kayla brings both expertise and a client-first approach to every consultation. Known for clear communication and personalized guidance, she is passionate about simplifying the insurance process and helping clients make confident, informed decisions.

Kayla is also the Legislative Co-Chair for the West Michigan Chapter of NABIP - the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. When not meeting with clients, Kayla stays up to date on the latest industry changes to ensure each recommendation is both current and compliant. Whether you're exploring Medicare, individual health plans, or supplemental coverage, Kayla is committed to providing honest, reliable service every step of the way.
